another 15 minutes. . .
It seems we’re famous again. Charlene Adam, pet columnist for the Winnipeg Free Press, wrote an incredibly flattering article about Craig Street Cats and yours truly. It appeared in today’s edition of the paper. I first read the article over my morning coffee, and I’m still blushing. You can read it here.
If you’re wondering about the critters in the photos, the handsome black and white fellow on my lap is Boots, and the little tabby in the background is Kieffer. The kittens in the inset photo are the tinies.
Thank you Charlene.
Stumble It!

I enjoyed reading the article in the paper. Hopefully now more people will know about what you guys do for cats and help you guys out with more donations.

Good to hear positive comments - hope these kind words come with donations - I would like to know if Craig Street Cats got their vehicle back on the road?
Great to hear that Bill Siksay (NDP) BC - Canadian Government is the first in North America to endorse/adopt U D A W - Way to go!

Hi Tonni,
Thank you for your comment.
There have been some donations of cash, food and cat litter. We have paid a few bills and will be sending a cheque to one of our vets. There was mention of a car being donated, but that has not panned out.
Unfortunately, we are still without a working vehicle.

I enjoyed the article very much - Craig Street Cats is doing great work - and this story couldn’t have come at a better time for me, personally.
We recently adopted (or were adopted by!) a streetwise little gal (prev been through a TNR pgm) who you might say was living a feral life. We spent the past few weeks trying to integrate her with our two big naive indoor boys and were starting to feel a little despondent about the slow progress.
This morning I remembered the article and thought: ‘If anyone can help us, the Cat Lady can’…
Thanks so much, Lynne, for generously sharing your advice and encouragement with me today!
