Kittens off to find their forever homes

My bathroom is no longer kitten world. Thanks to the kind people at Pet Traders, the 5 kittens that have been in residence have moved to where they will, no doubt, be snatched up by kitten lovers.

I miss the little guys, terribly, but I’m glad to have my bathroom back. It’s truly wonderful to be able to walk into the room without having to make sure that nothing scoots out between my feet. Taking a shower whenever I want, without having to store kittens in a crate, is a revelation.

I’m enjoying all this while I can, because I’m sure there’ll be another litter before long.

Lynne, I’ve sent along a small donation to help with the great work that you are doing. This is something that I would love to give my time too. I’ve had the instuctions for building the winter homes for ferel cats for some time now but did not know what I would do with them if I built them. Do you think that if I could construct the winter houses do you think that you could get people in your area to montor them. Some people just don’t want to put the effort into building them but maybe if given one they would care for whom ever took up residence. If you feel there is anything that I could help you with please feel free to contact me. My e-mail address is listed above.
    Thanks,
    Sandra

I so admire what you are doing lynne, talk about unsung heroes. I was raised in that area and there was always stray cats it seemed that I used to bring home. I fed a cat for six weeks last summer that lived under a neighbor’s steps. I finally managed to capture it and take it to the Humane Society and they were able to find it’s owner the next day fortunately.

I would like to send you a donation, can I just mail a cheque to your address.
    Thank you, aileen

I took one of them! The little black and white one with the heart-shaped patch on her eye and the little white booties on her feet!

Her name is Daisy and she is happy and healthy. She travelled with me to Toronto to keep me company during my last year at law school and now lives with me in my downtown Winnipeg apartment.

She is just lovely. Daisy is very talkative and attentive. She watches tv with me, sits on all my work material, and sleeps on her back with her feet in the air

Nice to hear from you Kalyn! It’s always great to hear about the cats and kittens we rescue, and find out how they’re doing. I’m glad Daisy found such a good Mom.
